The Avon Local Schools will host a Kindergarten Information Night for parents/guardians on Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. at the Avon Early Learning Center, 3075 Stoney Ridge Road. Any child who will be five years of age by Aug. 1 is eligible for admission to kindergarten. Avon offers both full-day (program fee) and half-day options. Registration for Kindergarten begins at 10 a.m. Jan. 27.

Avon Lake parents/guardians with children ready for kindergarten please plan to attend the upcoming virtual Kindergarten Info Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Jan. 26.

Online kindergarten registration will open on Jan. 4 and run through Feb. 24. Please note that the numbers gathered during this time frame helps determine classroom and building placement for the fall of 2023. Children must be 5 years of age ON OR BEFORE Aug. 1 to register for the 2023-2024 school year. Please check back in early January for complete registration information.
