Westlake Police & Fire News

Thank You, Firefighter-Paramedic Chris Gut

Congratulations to Firefighter-Paramedic Chris Gut, who completed his final shift at Westlake FD and is retiring!

Chris began his career with Westlake in December of 1997. In addition to his normal duties, he was active in managing the former WFD Explorer Post, and a longtime shift mechanic. Chris helped maintain the department’s fleet including the antique “Engine 1”, and performed annual pump testing on all department apparatus. We wish Chris a happy and healthy retirement.
