Polar Plunge Brings 150 to Huntington

What kind of people go swimming in this kind of weather? Wrestlers and baseball players, that’s who!

Last weekend’s Polar Plunge to support the Bay High baseball program brought about 150 participants to Huntington Beach. Water temperature – 36 degrees. Air temperature – 28 degrees. Number of crazy people who actually went into the water – 42! Coaches went first, players followed. Cases of hypothermia – none reported.

Thanks to all who participated! Now, let’s play ball!
