Wine Tasting Benefit North Coast Rotary

The North Coast Rotary Club and Foundation is excited to announce the Sip & Support winetasting fundraiser from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the Spitzer Conference Center of Lorain County Community College.

The Sip & Support will feature 3 hours of unlimited samplings of 35+ wines. This is a great opportunity for you and your friends to experience new wines and develop or expand your wine palate. Each wine will include flavor notes and if you like what you sample, there will be an opportunity to purchase full bottles. There will also be “bonus pours” of select special wines to offer you the pleasure of sampling wines you wouldn’t otherwise be able to. The wines will be expertly selected and provided by Pete Sandrev, co-owner of The Wine Room in Avon.

Pair the wines with gourmet appetizers provided by LCCC’s award winning chefs and catering team and delectable desserts as well. Live music will be performed by Doug McCutcheon, the original keyboard player with The Baskerville Hounds, an American garage rock band from West Park. The band was popular in the 1960s and 70s and they opened for many top acts including The Rolling Stones, Sonny & Cher, Beach Boys and Dave Clark 5. There will also be many opportunities to support the North Coast Rotary Foundation, such as auction baskets and raffles.

While sipping, take part in a fine art sale featuring 15 original works of art by documented artists. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of any pieces of art will benefit North Coast Rotary Foundation with the rest going to benefit the people of Ukraine. 100% of all other proceeds from the Sip and Support will benefit youth and community initiatives of the North Coast Rotary Foundation.

Tickets for Sip & Support are $80 each or $75 each when 2 or more tickets are purchased. Tickets can be purchased at northcoastrotary.org. 50% of the ticket price is tax-deductible. A complimentary keepsake wine glass is included with each ticket.
