Time to register your child for the Westlake Safety Town 2023! (classes fill up quickly). All registration is online through the Rec Center: www.cityofwestlake.org/812/Recreation. Westlake Safety Town is offered to children entering Kindergarten (ages 4.5–6 yrs old) in the fall of 2023. The program offers basic safety instructions on several topics including: pedestrian, bicycle, seatbelts, 9-1-1, gun, strangers, fire, school bus, swim, internet, and animal safety. Safety Town is held each day, rain or shine, and is located in front of the Westlake Police Department (27300 Hilliard Blvd).
Prior to the first day of class, parents will receive our expectations and schedule via email. Children should wear weather/activity appropriate clothing and shoes (for safety: NO FLIP FLOPS should be worn at Safety Town!). Safety Town is a Monday-Thursday Class 6/12-6/15; 6/19-6/22; 6/26-6/29; 7/10-7/13 & 7/17-7/20
