Floating a Better Idea

It’s better to float than it is to sink. That’s one of the lessons learned by Bay Middle School sixth-graders as they enjoyed the inaugural Cardboard Boat Regatta last week at Bay Village Family Aquatic Center. If you want to see videos of the big splash, check out Bay Village Schools social media. It was a great time as well as a physics lesson headed by Skipper Brent Illenberger, sixth grade science teacher at Bay Middle School. Mr. Illenberger is also the force behind the famous Punkin’ Chunkin’ event that this same group does each year at Cahoon Park. Happy summer, kids!
