Westlake Schools Senior Salute!

We’re excited to congratulate Allie Chang on her amazing accomplishment of being accepted into Baldwin Wallace University! Allie was an active and dedicated student in Westlake High School’s music program. She participated in Symphonic Band, Chamber Orchestra, Marching Band, musical pit, and Jazz II. Plus, her talent was recognized when she was selected for the 2023 All-State Band. We’re thrilled to see all that Allie has achieved and wish her all the best as she continues on this new journey! Congratulations and best of luck to Elisa Gauntner, a Westlake High School graduate making waves in the performing arts world! This amazing student continues her studies at Baldwin Wallace University, studying Conservatory in Arts Management & Entrepreneurship and Stage Management/Dance while still honing her theater, dance, violin, and voice skills. We are excited about Elisa’s future and can’t wait to see her achievements!

Yikun Zhou ‘23 has been playing violin for 12 years where he has been a member of the Westlake High School Chamber Orchestra, the Northern Ohio Youth Orchestra, OMEA North East Region Orchestra, and an OMEA All-State Orchestra Alternate. In the fall, he will be studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Florida in their 7-year “direct med” BS/MD Program with a minor in Chinese language. In addition, he plans on playing in the USF Symphony Orchestra. Congratulations, Yikun!
