All is bright as Great Northern Mall celebrates the start of the holiday season in spectacular style.
Santa’s Grand Arrival takes place Fri., Nov. 17, with a festive fireworks show to welcome guests for a season of special experiences and holiday shopping.
In partnership with the City of North Olmsted and Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine, the event starts at 5:30 p.m. and features music and entertainment by RealPopFusion, games, and special appearances by holiday favorites like Buddy, Jovie, The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who. The fireworks start at 6:30 p.m. Guests are also invited to take pictures with Santa inside.
Santa will be stationed at his sleigh in Center Court every day following the event through December 24. Reservations for the Santa photo experience are not required but encouraged to reduce wait times. Photos with Santa is presented by Ryan Homes.
Sensory Friendly Santa Cares events will be hosted on Sunday, December 3 and Sunday, December 10 from 8:30-10:30 a.m. prior to store openings. To provide a quieter experience, mall music will be off and guest traffic is expected to be minimal. Visits with Santa are free, but reservations are required and photo packages will be available for purchase.
Furry friends can visit with Santa during special Pet Photos with Santa on Sunday, November 26 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 17 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Presented by Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, the event welcomes domestic animals only, and all pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.
