The Normandy’s Chef Nacho takes Soup Cook-Off Honors

Congratulations to Chef Nacho of The Normandy Senior Living on another award winning soup. His White Chicken Lasagna took first place in the annual Bay Village Community Services Soup Cook-Off on Jan. 26.

It was the second straight title for Chef Nacho at this prestigioius event. He was up against 11 other competitors from area senior living locations to compete for the honor before an audience of about 150 guests. They sampled the delicious soups and cast their ballots. Chef Nacho took the title!

Second place went to Concord Reserve and its delicious lobster bisque. Third place belonged to Fairmont Senior Living’s sausage and potato soup.

Adding to the fun were judges from Bay Village’s City Hall and the volunteers from Bay Village Community Services and Police Departments, who carried out judging and server duties.

Monies from ticket sales raised funds for senior center activities in Bay Village.
