Celebrating Our Nonagenarians

Mayor Clough at the Westlake Community Center awarded 90-plus residents with city proclamations.

Celebrating those 90 years and older was the theme of day last Thursday and the Westlake Community Center hosted lunch for our nonagenarians.

Mayor Dennis Clough was on hand to present the celebrants with city proclamations. “The community and residents of Westlake realize what a valuable resource our older citizens are and that their gifts of wisdom and experience contribute to the stability and future of Westlake,” said Mayor Clough. ‘You have lived through the most eventful years of this world’s history and adapted successfully to many changes.”
