Avon’s Meaningful Memorial Day

The meaning of Memorial Day is solemnly observed in Avon at the Veteran’s Memorial the fourth Monday in May.

After a parade starting at the senior center, Avon residents gather at Avon’s Veterans Memorial for observances that honor the brave souls who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms. We are reminded to live with purpose and gratitude as we express gratitude for the bravery of the fallen American soldiers.
