Avon on the Lake Garden Club Partners with CRS

The Avon on the Lake Garden Club has partnered with Community Resources Services of Avon Lake and held it’s first Tomato Workshop last week. The members of the club got together with CRS and planned a workshop to help the community to start their own tomato container garden at their homes. Gardening isn’t for everyone but a lot of people enjoy it and really enjoy eating the fruits of their labor. Container gardening is a great way to enjoy fresh veggies even when you don’t have a yard to plant a garden. Many people came out to participate in this workshop. It was such a huge success that the club and CRS are considering expanding this into a second workshop later in the year for a Salad Bowl Workshop.
