Learn About Bay Village History

Hear the story of the historic Reuben Osborn house, now the Osborn Learning Center, and the man who campaigned to save it.

The home, built in 1814, was moved to its current location next to Rose Hill Museum in the city’s historic district, largely due to the efforts of Bay Village Historical Society board member and past president Tom Phillips. This is an opportunity to learn about the structure’s fascinating journey.

The Bay Village Historical Society will hold its second 2024 summer porch talk at the Reuben Osborn Learning Center on Sunday, July 21. This presentation celebrates 15 years of porch talks at the Osborn Learning Center.

The free porch talk begins at 2:15 p.m. Guests are asked to bring their own lawn chairs. Visit www.bayhistorical.com for additional information.
