Come One, Come All to the Westlake Rubber Duck Race

Join in for the Westlake Historical Society’s exciting events on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Westlake Recreation Center! Here’s what’s happening:

• Rubber Duck Race: Adopt your rubber ducks on our website westlakeohiohistory.org or by calling 216-848-0680. You can also adopt ducks on race day. Cash prizes await the winner and the last place duck! The event opens at noon with the race starting at 1 PM.
• Silent Auction: Bid on over 20 themed baskets and items, including theater tickets, movie night packages, event passes, restaurant gift certificates, adult beverages, and more. Donations of gift cards and other items are still welcome—contact Lysa at 216-848-0680 for details.

• Old-Fashioned Pie Contest: In memory of Sophronia Clague, this contest is open to amateur bakers of homemade dessert pies. Entries must be dropped off at the Westlake Recreation Center Community Room by 1:00 p.m. on Oct. 19. Separate divisions for students and adults.
