The Westlake Kiwanis Club recently donated $1,000 to the Westlake High School Team Hope to support Team Hope’s fundraising efforts, benefiting the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Team Hope aims to defeat childhood blood cancers and raise awareness of the importance of blood cancer research.
“Westlake Kiwanis Club strives to make the community a better place for everyone, especially children,” said Kiwanis Club President Nan Baker. “A donation to help fight childhood blood cancers not only aligns with our mission, but will help support efforts to improve the lives of children and families in our community.”
This year, the Westlake Kiwanis Club is celebrating 75 years of commitment to the Westlake community. If you are interested in becoming a Kiwanis Club member or to learn more, visit KiwanisClubofWestlakeOhio.org.
