Bay Days 2025
Fun For the Whole Family! Join us for the 2025 Annual Bay Days in Bay Village! During the four day carnival, July 2-5, catch up with family and friends, enjoy thrilling rides, fuel up with delicious food, listen to local music and celebrate 4th of July with stunning fireworks on July 5. Open daily from Noon until 10:30 p.m. in Cahoon Memorial Park.

- Bay Days 5 Miler / 1 Mile / Kids Run: July 4 • 7 a.m. Registration/Packet pick up opens at Bay High School • 8:30 a.m. 5 Miler begins • 8:40 a.m. 1 Mile Run/Walk begins • 10 a.m. Kids Super Sprint on the Track (start expected after bulk of 5 Mile Runners are finished). - Patriotic Pooch Parade: July 4 • 1 – 3 p.m. at Bay Days Gazebo. Monica Robins and the Whiskey Kinds will be performing. Free giveaways & dog games. Lake Erie Labrador Retriever Rescue and Elite K911. Hosted by For The Love Of Bay Village Dogs. *All dogs must be leashed and NO retractable leaches.
- Vintage Baseball Game: July 4 • 1 p.m., next to the Bay Days Festival at the Cahoon Soccer Fields. There will be Three 7 inning matches played between the Bay Villagers, Whiskey Island Shamrocks and the Canal Dover Red Legs. Matches will be played using 1860 Base Ball rules (no gloves). Prior to the matches, we will honor Ray Yoder, the founder of the Bay Villagers, with a park bench dedication at the Cahoon field location.
- Classic Car Show: July 5 • 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Cahoon Park. $10 Donation Benefits “Fill This House.” All cool cars welcome! Still on the grass at the South End of the Soccer Fields. 50% off Curly Fries Coupon; Dash Plaque for First 100; 50/50 Raffle; Trophy for People’s Choice Top Three; Music by: DJ Prosphora; Cool-It Car Community; Mission BBQ “Bam Bam” Military Cargo Truck.
- Bike, Trike & Wagon Parade: July 5, Cahoon Park Gazebo • 11:15 a.m. Line-up & Judging; 11:30 a.m. Parade Begins. Decorate your bicycle, tricycle or wagon & parade around the 1/4 mile route beginning at the gazebo! Prize for the Most Patriotic in Each Category with Preference Given to Those with Minimal Parent help. Participation gift for all children! Parade will be led by Bay Village Police Officer.
- Fireworks: July 5 • 9:45 p.m., Cahoon Park. Parking fees may apply, carpooling and walking encouraged. Arrive early.

Westlake
36th Annual Charity Classic Car Show
Rev up for Independence Day! The City of Westlake will host its beloved 36th Annual Charity Classic Car Show on Friday, July 4, at Clague Park.
This family-friendly event features a judged car show with twelve trophy categories spanning Pre-1950s through 1980s vehicles, plus Best of Show. Registration is $15 from 10 a.m. to noon (no pre-registration required), with dash plaques for the first 150 cars and limited parking available.
Beyond classic automobiles, the celebration includes live music entertainment, pool access, concessions, family activities, games, and fireworks at dusk. Additional attractions include a dog show at noon and martial arts demonstrations from 12:30 – 1 p.m.
Awards will be presented at 2:30 p.m., with judging for all entries registered by noon. The event benefits the Westlake Community Center and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Fireworks Celebration
Thursday, July 3 • 5 p.m. Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head over to Weiss Field (33401 Webber Rd.) for an evening of family-friendly events and fireworks.
- 5 – 9 p.m., Food Trucks
- 6 – 10 p.m., Live Music by Country Redford, Cleveland Music Awards Best Country Band
- 10 p.m., Fireworks
Food trucks will include Cheesy Dave’s, Jones Bones BBQ, Telos Truck, Cafe Melissa, Barrio Tacos, and The Original Steak and Hoagies. Dessert Trucks will include 808 Ice, CLE Cookie Dough, CLE Cotton Candy, Kountry Krunchins, and My Mini Me Donuts.

The Great July 4th Bike Parade & Fireworks
The City of Avon Great July 4th Bike Parade will start at 10 a.m. at the Avon Aquatic Facility. Decorate your bike, trike, wagon or even your stroller for the holiday! The parade will go across Detroit Road and down Healthway Drive, turn around and come back to the Avon Aquatic Facility.
On July 3rd after the Crushers take on the Joliet Slammers at 7:05 p.m. enjoy the fireworks sponsored by the Crushers and the City of Avon.
North Ridgeville
Freedom Festival & Fireworks
Victory Park Ohio, 7777 Victory Ln. is hosting Freedom Festival, an exciting event for the city and surrounding communities to celebrate our nation’s birthday while utilizing the amenities of Victory Park Ohio’s 60+ acre outdoor sports & entertainment facility. This event will be held on Thursday, July 3, from 4 – 11 p.m.
During Freedom Festival there will be food and beverages available to purchase on-site from local vendor trailers, carts and the popular on-site restaurant Victory Grille. There will be several family-fun activities including inflatables, carnival games, miscellaneous sporting activities, a Balloon Twister, Patriotic Stilt Walker, Pony Rides & Petting Zoo, three different shows by Performance Dogs of Ohio, an animal show with Jungle Bob, and live music. The fireworks show, sponsored by the City of North Ridgeville, will last approximately 30 minutes, including an exciting grand finale!
Gates open at 4 p.m. Net proceeds will benefit three 501(c)3 non-profits – North Ridgeville Community Care, Canine Superheroes Foundation, and Save 22.

Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks
The City of Elyria Parks and Recreation Department invites you to the 2025 Independence Day Celebration: 7 p.m. on Friday, July 4, at West Park, 1200 Foster Ave. Fireworks begin at 10:15 p.m.!

Friday, July 4 • Mile-Long Pier, 301 Lakeside Ave. Every year the Lorain Port and Finance Authority sponsors a magnificent Independence Day Fireworks Display for the residents and visitors of the City of Lorain to enjoy. The display is launched from the Mile-Long Pier, 301 Lakeside Avenue, on Lorain’s East Side and begins whenever the sun completely sets. This is usually around 10 p.m. You can also watch from our livestream Port Lorain camera via Facebook or YouTube.

4th of July Parade, Concert & Fireworks
Fourth of July Parade: July 4 • 10 – 11:30 a.m. The Lakewood Fourth of July Celebration begins with a parade at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 4. The parade will step off from Kenneth and Lake Avenues and continue east to Lakewood Park.
Fourth of July Concert: July 4 • 7 – 8:30 p.m. At 7 p.m., the Lakewood Project, Lakewood High School’s Youth Rock Orchestra, will perform at the Bandstand at Lakewood Park, 14532 Lake Avenue, Lakewood
Fourth of July Fireworks: July 4 • 9:45 – 10:45 p.m. Lakewood’s annual fireworks display is set to take place on Friday, July 4 at approximately 9:45 p.m. The rain date is Saturday, July 5.

Light Up the Lake
Downtown Cleveland’s 4th of July fireworks show and watch party returns! From 5-10 p.m. in Voinovich Park there will be face painting, balloon twisting, bubbles, make and take crafts, a rocket launcher experience by the Women’s International Air and Space Museum, music by DJ Smillz, and more!
A variety of food vendors will be on-site including: Carter’s BBQ • The Original Steaks & Hoagies • Konda Ice Truck • CLE Cotton Candy
The annual Independence Day fireworks spectacular will begin at dusk after the sun sets, approximately 10 pm and last for 20 minutes.
