An Evening of Strings by the Lake

The Westshore Arts Council and BAYarts invite you to a memorable evening of live classical music featuring the BlueWater String Sextet, six musicians from Cleveland’s acclaimed BlueWater Chamber Orchestra.

Thursday, September 25, 2025: BAYarts — Former Huntington Playhouse, 28795 Lake Road, Bay Village, 7:00 p.m. (One-hour performance, no intermission)

The program includes Dvořák’s String Sextet in A Major, Op. 48, a folk-inspired masterpiece full of Slavic spirit, along with works by Tommaso Albinoni and a youthful composition by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The performers are Diana Pepelea and Nancy Patterson, violins; Laura Shuster and Brian Slawta, violas; and Linda Atherton and Julie Myers King, cellos.

Following the concert, guests are invited to stay for a light charcuterie spread and cash bar, and to browse a display of art for sale.
