19th Annual Big Splash Dog Swim

The Love-a-Stray 19th Annual Big Splash Dog Swim was a huge hit on Saturday, September 6 at the Avon Lake Municipal Pool. Love-a-Stray posted an update after the event:

Everyone Had FUN at the 19th Annual BIG SPLASH Fundraiser!

Special thanks to all of our attendees at the BIG SPLASH! We had PERFECT weather this year and all the dogs had a BLAST!

The 19th Annual Fundraiser was a HUGE success. Love-A-Stray is very thankful for our supporters and volunteers! We appreciate Avon Lake Parks & Recreation Department, City of Avon Lake, OH and Avon Lake Public Works that helped make this event possible. BIG thanks to Avon Lake Animal Clinic for their continued support with the first aid team. Also, thanks to the vendors that attended this year and donated to our cause; SoulMutts, EarthWise Pet Avon Lake, Camp Bow Wow Westlake and Hollywood Feed. Thanks for making this a great day for the DOGS and their people, while supporting Love-A-Stray! NOW let’s SAVE MORE DOGS!

We hope to see you next year! September 12th, 2026 for our 20th Anniversary! It’s going to be EPIC! – The event is always the first Saturday after Labor Day. Please save the date!
