Happy 100th!

On September 12, 2025, Arden Courts of Westlake celebrated Irene Williams’ 100th birthday. Irene was born in Lorain, Ohio where she had a career as a homemaker, raising four children: Annie, Paulette, Dave, and Don. Irene has a love of baking and also worked in a bakery on occasion. Irene enjoys playing cards and was recognized as Top Quilter at the Lorain County Fair. Irene’s Catholic faith has been important throughout her life; her favorite verse is “This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.” For her birthday celebration the family held a Birthday Card campaign, Irene received 130 cards including several from around the world.
