Farm to Fork

Bay Middle School students are giving new meaning to the term “farm to fork” by growing their own lettuce! Find out more this Wed., Jan. 14 during the 3News Growing Stem segment at 5pm!

Doce Uvas

Normandy students in Señora Hoy’s Bay Village Spanish class learned about the Doce Uvas (12 Grapes) Tradition to celebrate New Year’s Eve like they do in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. Some students joined the tradition, eating their 12 grapes for good luck.

On the last day of school before winter break, Bay High music students spread holiday cheer by visiting all the buildings and city hall.

Congrats to BHS Cheer! The squad won 1st Place at the Fighting with Fire competition at Firelands High School last month. They competed in the High School Game Day Building Division.

On Their Toes…

Bay Village students performed in North Pointe Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker last month. Five Normandy and Westerly students, a Bay Middle School 7th grader, Penelope, with two roles in the production and Nikita, a 7th grader from Bay Middle School.
