Bay Village Board of Education Appoints Autumn Reed as District’s Next Treasurer

During its March 2, 2026, Special Board Meeting, the Bay Village Board of Education voted unanimously to appoint Autumn Reed as Bay Village City School Districts’ next Treasurer. Her start date with Bay Village Schools is Monday, April 20, 2026.

Reed currently serves as the Treasurer of Avon Lake City School District, a position she has held since 2012. She was promoted to this role after serving the Avon Lake district as Assistant Treasurer for eight years. Prior to working for Avon Lake Schools, the Nova, Ohio native served as Assistant Treasurer for Avon Local School District and in the Finance Department of her hometown district, Mapleton Local School District.

Throughout her career, Reed has consistently earned awards for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Ohio Auditor of State, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) and the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO). She has also served as Chairperson of the Suburban Health Consortium and as President of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials’ Northeast Chapter (OASBO).

Reed was appointed to replace Meghan Rohde, who served as Treasurer of Bay Village Schools since April of 2021. Rohde took a similar role with Lakewood City Schools in January of 2026. Emily Cundiff has served as Interim Treasurer since Rohde’s departure from the district, and will continue in that role through Reed’s transition.
