A special exhibit and sale of Kathe Lisy’s colorful mixed-media art runs through the end of May at The Carolyn L. Farrell Foundation’s Center for Artful Living, 26633 Detroit Rd. in Westlake. The title of the exhibit is Beyond the Backyard: No Batteries Needed, and it sets the mood for spring and summer. It is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. All sales will benefit The Carolyn L. Farrell Foundation for Brain Health. If you have questions, call (440) 414-0434.
Lisy is a retired art teacher whose lifelong love of creativity has woven through every chapter of her life. She finds inspiration in the beauty of everyday moments. A neighbor’s garden in bloom, a familiar local landmark, a simple grocery store bouquet, and the energetic spirit of a beloved pet all spark her imagination. With gratitude and joy, she enjoys capturing the warmth and wonders that surround her every day.
The Center for Artful Living provides an opportunity for all to enjoy the artwork of a variety of professional artists from northeast Ohio in a smaller and comfortable setting, and it is especially well suited for individuals affected by cognitive brain health issues.
