WPPL Board Appoints New Fiscal Officer

The Westlake Porter Public Library Board of Trustees appointed Westlake resident Elizabeth Snezek as the library’s new fiscal officer at their regular board meeting on Wednesday, March 18.

Snezek comes to WPPL from Columbia Local Schools, where she served as the assistant treasurer. She has also held finance roles at Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City School District and in private business and banking. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University.

Having grown up in Westlake and graduated from Westlake High School, Snezek sees the move to WPPL as bringing her back to her roots. “My first job was as a student page at the library, and it was a great experience. Coming back as the Fiscal Officer is a dream come true,” she said.

“We are delighted to have Beth join our team,” said Board of Trustees President Will Perry. “We know that under her guidance our record of fiscal responsibility will continue.”

Snezek replaces Celeste Fortunato, who retired in fall 2025.
