Congratulations to Avon on winning the 2026 OHSAA Division I Girls State Track and Field State Championship! Avon totaled 68 points en route to their first girls state track and field title. It has been an incredible year for Avon Athletics, winning four state championships this scholastic calendar. State championships were captured by the Eagle football team, boys soccer team and girls volleyball team last fall. Closing out the school year with the Ohio girls track trophy completes a truly remarkable school year for Avon High sports teams. City of champions!

Congratulations to Avon throwers in shot put! Max Hauck, state champion with a new PR putting him 2nd in the state record books. Max won both the shot put and the discus this year for a tremendous double, leading Avon to a third place finish in the team overall standings – highest ever for Avon! Congrats to Jacob Abfall, 5th!
