Nominations Open for 2026 LCCC Commodore Hall of Fame

Lorain County Community College and the Lorain County Community College Foundation are inviting the community to nominate deserving alumni for the third class of Commodore Hall of Fame. Nominations are now open for alumni who have distinguished themselves through professional accomplishments, leadership, service to others, and a continued connection to LCCC’s mission.

Established to honor the achievements of LCCC graduates, the Commodore Hall of Fame recognizes alumni whose success and contributions demonstrate the lasting impact of an LCCC education. Honorees represent the many ways Commodores are making a difference in their professions, communities, and beyond.

The third class of inductees will be celebrated during a special ceremony in November 2026 as part of the annual GRADitude celebration, hosted by the Lorain County Community College Foundation. GRADitude brings together alumni, students, community members, and supporters to celebrate LCCC’s history, recognize the accomplishments of its graduates, and look toward the future of the College. The Commodore Hall of Fame induction ceremony serves as a highlight of the event, honoring the newly selected inductees and their contributions to LCCC’s legacy.

“We are reminded frequently of the incredible impact LCCC alumni are making in our region and beyond,” said LCCC President Marcia J. Ballinger, Ph.D. “The Commodore Hall of Fame provides an opportunity to celebrate these exceptional individuals and share their stories of achievement, perseverance, and service with our entire community.”

Community members, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends of the College are encouraged to submit nominations at www.lcccfoundation.org before August 31, 2026.

Nominations will be reviewed based on professional achievement, leadership, community involvement, and alignment with the values of Lorain County Community College.
