Mercy Health New Life Hospice by Compassus is hosting our 4th Annual Memorial Walk on Thursday, September 17 to give those who have lost loved ones an opportunity to honor their memory.
This is an open house style event where participants will have the opportunity to honor their loved one through a self-guided walk on the walking path that surrounds the New Life Hospice building located on the Mercy Health Lorain Hospital Campus.
“The Annual Memorial Walk is a special time for those who are grieving a loved one, by providing grievers with a physical outlet to honor their memory,” said Jennifer Mosely, Bereavement Coordinator for New Life Hospice by Compassus. “It is our hope that this Memorial Walk will give those who are missing their loved ones a sense of peace and healing, while also giving them the opportunity to feel their loved one’s presence as they walk the grounds and participate in meaningful memorial activities.” A special thank you to our walk sponsor for a third year in a row Dovin, Reber Jones Funeral & Cremation Services” and the Mercy Health Foundation Lorain for providing the funding to make this walk possible.
