Last Call for Bay Yard Waste Pick Up

The City of Bay Village has added an extra day of yard waste pick up through Republic Services, and it is tomorrow.

If you still have yard waste bags out, please leave them out for pick-up tomorrow, Thurs., Dec. 8.

“Although the city’s contract with Republic states that Yard Waste pickup ends the last Tuesday in November, the city Service Department was picking up Yard Waste yesterday for the final pickup of the season. As a number of our residents still have yard waste bags out we have negotiated a final one-time  city-wide Yard Waste pickup with Republic for tomorrow, Thurs., Dec. 8.  If you still have yard waste bags out, please leave them out for pick-up tomorrow,” reports Interim Mayor Gary Ebert.

Please remember, beginning next week, yard waste must go in your blue trash cans or in large plastic garbage bags which can only be put out on Bulk Pickup days, until the separate Yard Waste pickup begins again next Spring.
