The Avon Parks & Rec is hosting a “Share Your Staycation” event!
Here are a few of the first entries from families in town and their responses to our Stay at Home rules:
The Avon Parks and Recreation Department wants to Avon residents to share your stay at home staycation! Details on how to enter are below:
Where do you “wish” you could be right now? Relaxing on the beach, enjoying the great outdoors at a campground or maybe visiting Mickey Mouse and the gang? Since we all had to change our plans, why not try a virtual vacation? Costumes, props, and originality are encouraged! Share a photo of your “staycation’ with the Avon Parks and Recreation Department and we will safely deliver a little surprise to your doorstep. Follow the directions below and remember to practice social distancing while you are “vacationing.” Wishing you a fun, relaxing and safe staycation!
How to Enter
Submit your PHOTO (no videos) to us via email to parksinfo@cityofavon.com by Tuesday, April 21 at 4 p.m.
All participants must have parental approval.
Please include the following information when emailing your staycation scene:
- Parent/Guardian Last Name & First Name
- Address (residents only)
- Contact Number
- Number of children in your family (10 and under)
- Can we share your photo on the City of Avon Facebook’s page?
Limited quantity of treat bags for participants ages 10 and under! When you include your address, we will do our best to deliver a special treat to your doorstep. Social distancing will be practiced and all items will be cleaned and handled with gloves.
