Ridgeville Police Report Two Arrested in Attempted Realtor Abduction

Evans

On 8/22/20, the North Ridgeville Police were dispatched to a Homecrest Drive address in response to an attempted abduction of a realtor.  The realtor, a 54 year old female, reported that she was waiting to show a home on the street when two males approached the home in a silver SUV.  After a brief conversation the driver asked for a business card.  When she returned to the vehicle to issue the business card, the driver grabbed her by the arm and attempted to pull her into the vehicle.  The realtor reported that the male passenger yelled “Get her in here!” and “let’s go!”  After a struggle, the realtor was able to break free and get into her vehicle and lock the doors.  The two male suspects fled the area.

The victim sustained bruises and cuts on her arm.
