North Coast Rotary Honors 2025 Student Scholars and Emerging Leaders

The North Coast Rotary Club proudly celebrated a dynamic group of student leaders whose academic achievements, service commitment, and personal integrity exemplify Rotary International’s core motto: Service Above Self.

Held during the Club’s summer meetings, this year’s recognition ceremony showcased the impact of youth leadership and civic engagement through brief presentations from each honoree. Their reflections underscored how service and scholarship continue to shape their values, goals, and global perspectives.

Among the highlights was a presentation by Alexander Hicks, who attended the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar. “It wasn’t just a camp—it was a catalyst,” he shared, speaking to the program’s emphasis on inclusivity and collaborative problem-solving.

Ohio University student Juliette Kinlin also shared insights from her summer internship in Amsterdam, supported in part by North Coast Rotary. As a member of a business consulting team, Kinlin contributed to sustainability strategies and AI integration for a local seltzer company.

“This group reminds us what real leadership looks like—honest, thoughtful, and forward-thinking,” said Gina Eschke, North Coast Rotary’s Scholarship Program Coordinator. “Their contributions are a reflection of our mission and a promise for what’s ahead.”
