Three Educational Scholarships will be Awarded in Recognition of Youth Volunteers Who Enrich the Lives of Seniors
Saint Therese has opened the application process for its annual Youth Volunteer Scholarships. These scholarships recognize and honor the dedication of youth who give their time to enrich the lives of older adults in Saint Therese communities.
Each year, Saint Therese awards three $2,000 educational scholarships. The program is designed to encourage intergenerational connections and celebrate the impact young volunteers have on residents through their service.
To be eligible, applicants must be in grades 11–12 during the 2025–2026 school year and have completed at least 20 volunteer hours in a Saint Therese community (Minnesota, Michigan or Ohio), by the date of submission. Volunteer service may include activities such as companionship visits, assisting with dining or housekeeping, serving as a mass or beauty escort, calling bingo, leading a drum circle, sharing musical talent or assisting with housekeeping.
The application deadline is March 1, 2026. Scholarship recipients will be announced in April and awards will be distributed directly to recipients’ educational institutions for tuition or other qualifying higher education expenses.
