Fraggle Rock Comes to Life on Stage at Stocker Arts Center This October

Dance your cares away as the beloved world of Fraggle Rock comes to life on stage! Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE takes audiences on a colorful, music-filled adventure at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, October 17, in the Stocker Arts Center Hoke Theatre on the campus of Lorain County Community College, 1005 N. Abbe Road, Elyria.

Presented by The Jim Henson Company, Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE is the first-ever live touring show based on the iconic Fraggle Rock franchise. This all-new musical stage adventure invites audiences of all ages to join Gobo, Red, Mokey, Wembley and Boober Fraggle on an exhilarating quest to find the legendary Celebration Stone — an ancient Fraggle treasure said to have the power to bring everyone together for the greatest party in Fraggle history.

The production brings the colorful world of Fraggle Rock into the theatre with new walk-around Fraggle characters, puppet-sized and mechanized Doozers, an appearance by the giant Gorgs, and original puppet creatures created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. Audiences can also expect fan-favorite songs, spectacular visual effects, immersive theatrical moments and opportunities for audience interaction.

Continuing the tradition of music, comedy, joy and friendship that The Fraggles have always celebrated, this newest adventure delivers an energetic and entertaining theatrical experience for families, longtime fans and anyone who is young at heart.

For fans who want to get even closer to the action, a limited number of VIP Experience tickets are also available! The pre-show VIP experience gives guests the opportunity to meet their Fraggle friends up close and enjoy special time with the characters, including high-fives, hugs and memorable interactions.

Gather the family, bring your dancing shoes and get ready for an unforgettable adventure “down in Fraggle Rock!”
