Bay Village Police Blotter

On 04/12/2013, at 2140 hours, a resident called to report a group of 6 teenagers were climbing on the roof of Normandy School.  When police arrived on scene they located the group playing; on the playground.  They denied climbing on the roof.  The group was advised and sent on their way.

On 04/12/2013, at 0140 hours, a BVPD officer stopped a vehicle on Porter Creek at Lake Rd. for a traffic violation.  After speaking with the 33 yoa male driver, the officer suspected the driver had been drinking.  Field sobriety tests were administered, and as a result, the driver was arrested for OVI.  He was also cited for Driving Under Suspension.  He will face charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On 04/13/2013, at 1500 hours, a Vineland resident called to report a suspicious person was looking the neighborhood mailboxes.  Police located the male, and learned he was a letter carrier looking for a piece of equipment he had lost.  He was advised of the complaint.
