Rose Senior Living at Avon: A Year to Remember

It was a year to remember at Rose Senior Living Avon as the distinctive facility for the elder population marked its ribbon-cutting in April and hasn’t stopped the celebration yet!

From the beginning, Rose Senior Living at Avon stepped lively, hosting a music fest with the popular Avon Sing-A-Longs in May.

Then came an exciting partnership with TruNorth Cultural Arts. Rose Senior Living and TruNorth made a priceless intergenerational connection by welcoming TruNorth to call RSL home.

Residents and youthful actors and actresses made for a lively presence there as they conducted rehearsals and then made their debut performance of Stephen Sondheim’s ‘Into the Woods.’

That was followed by a ‘Little Big Band’ concert where TruNorth swing musicians dedicated the gazebo on the RSL grounds with a summer concert.

Event of the year, however, had to be Rose Senior Living’s autumn Polka Fest. The brats were grilled to perfection and the music of the famed Chardon made for a delightful evening under fall skies.
