O’Neill Healthcare’s Sylvia Golsby is Busch ‘Caregiver of the Month’

Busch Funeral and Crematory Services would like to congratulate our January Caregiver of the Month!

The Caregiver of the Month Award was given to Sylvia Golsby, a nursing assistant for O’Neill Healthcare Hospice in North Ridgeville, Ohio. Sylvia’s nominator, Ann Crum, says, “She’s one of the kindest and most caring people we have working for us.” She also notes that while the facility receives a number of compliments for staff and volunteers, “Sylvia Golsby is one who truly stands out above the rest.”

Sylvia is recognized for her attentive care for all, and is said to spend countless hours with patients and their families, making sure each and every resident feels special. A mother of nine and a grandmother to four, Sylvia devotes her time to helping others every chance she gets. (Congratulations, Sylvia!)

If you wish to nominate someone for our next Busch Recognition Award, we encourage you to submit your nomination by completing the nomination form. All nominations are carefully read and considered each month during the year-long program.

Nominees may be a hospice professional, physician, nurse, chaplain, social worker, CNA, healthcare administrative professional, volunteer, or anyone seen as a caregiver in Northeast Ohio.

Please note that we’ve changed our review process to include past nominees for consideration each month. If you have already nominated an individual, your nominee will continue to be considered for the Caregiver Award.
