Avon Lions Club Presents “Harmony Circle” at “Every Child’s Playground”

At the Avon City Council Meeting on Monday, January 22, 2018, Dave Mooibroek from the Avon Lions Club presented City Council with a commitment to purchase the “Harmony Circle” at our “Every Child’s Playground.”

The Harmony Circle will include 6 pieces of musical instruments that will be installed at our playground. As the brochure says “Music is Joy…Joy that can be heard and felt, whether it is bold or subtle, composed or random. Musical instruments offer a unique way for kids and adults to be creative and express themselves both physically and emotionally.”

Mayor Jensen said “The Avon Lions Club has done so many great things for our city over the years. This is just another example of the many ways they make our City a better place. I am very excited to work with them on this project. Children of all abilities and needs will be able to enjoy these musical instruments at our park.”
