Normandy Care Center Receives Top Rating for Quality Care

Normandy Care Center at 22709 Lake Rd. has received an overall rating of 5 stars – the highest possible ranking – from the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

The ratings, which range from one star (poor) to five (excellent), measure overall performance and performance in three key areas: health inspections, staffing and quality measures such as percentage of short-stay patients (those who spent 100 days or fewer at the facility) who were successfully discharged or did not have to be re-hospitalized. The U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid oversee skilled nursing centers in the United States and update their ratings regularly.
