Planting Day in Westlake

The beautiful flower boxes that adorn the Hilliard Blvd. median each summer got their start last weekend as the City of Westlake celebrated Planting Day last Saturday.

Dozens of green-thumb gardeners lent their expertise and creativity to the boxes as they planted their seedlings for the 2018 season. Included were Westlake Kiwanis as well as many other community organizations and individuals who not only enjoy gardening but take pride in making Westlake beautiful. They will be going back all summer to tend plants, weed and keep the boxes beautiful. Thank you to all! Photos courtesy City of Westlake.
