Hockey Standout

Aubryn Monter is a 17-year-old North Ridgeville resident who attends high school at Lovell Academy in Rockland, Massachusetts where she has served as hockey team captain the past 5 seasons. She is one of the Academy’s all team leading scores with over 450 career points.  She has been a national leader in point scoring the past few seasons and is committed to continue her hockey and academic career at Penn State University next fall. This past summer, after a rigorous gauntlet of district and national camp tryouts, she was selected for the USA 18 and under National Women’s Ice Hockey Select Team. They travelled to Vancouver in August to play the Canadian National Team for a 3-game series. While Team USA went 1-2 in three very competitive games, Aubryn managed to score 2 of the 8 goals scored by the Americans in that 3-game series.
