Let’s Eat! Avon Students and Seniors Share Lunch

In celebration of National School lunch Week, residents from Pathways Memory Care at Avon Place enjoyed lunch with students at Avon High School Tuesday.

The ‘Senior to Senior’ intergenerational lunch program allowed residents of Avon Place to share life experiences with present day students and to see how lunch programs have changed over the years.

Taking part as Avon Place guests Frances Berber (100 years old), Patricia Glending, Mary Ann Bregar, Maria Perez-Bostic, Rosa Oehlke and Ruth Scarpelli and Willa Harington. Students were delighted to welcome these special guests to Avon High and enjoyed a lively hour of conversation and stories.
