Ray & Jeanne Gilles started their family-owned business, Ray’s Auto & Truck Service, from their Avon home in 1979 with son Mike. The Gilles’ success enabled a move to their current state-of-the-art facility on Colorado Avenue in 1988. In 2000, a large truck shop was added to better service commercial fleets and heavy trucks, and an expansion of their truck shop was completed in August 2008.
