Members representing area Rotary clubs including Amherst, Elyria Noon, Elyria Sunrise, Lorain, North Coast Rotary (Avon, Avon Lake and Sheffield), Oberlin, Vermilion and Rotary International, recently presented a check for$10,030 to the Stocker Foundation for the Dolly Parton Imagination Library initiative in Lorain County through the Stocker Foundation.
The Lorain County Imagination Library provides age-appropriate books for children in Lorain County once a month from birth to age five. The mission is to foster a lifetime love of reading, empower families and increase kindergarten readiness to build a strong foundation for a community of children who view themselves as confident readers and writers in Lorain County.

Each club donated an amount based on the number of members in each club. The North Coast Rotary also wrote a grant. The district Rotary Club matched a one-to-one dollar amount for an additional $5,000.
