Spring Clean-Up
The City of Avon will have dumpsters available May 10 thru May 13 in the following locations for the purpose of spring clean-up: Northgate • Entrance to Schwartz Road Park • Avon Aquatic Facility. Items that will be taken are bulk items, yard waste and general debris. Items NOT accepted are: Tires, Appliances containing Freon, Propane tanks, Hazardous materials or toxic waste. Avon’s Memorial Day Parade
Avon’s Memorial Day Parade is Mon., May 28. Uncle Sam wants all Veterans, Groups, Organizations, Youth Groups, Merchants, Men and Women to participate!
Avon’s Memorial Day Parade and Festivities starts at 9 a.m. with Ceremony following at The Memorial on 83/Detroit Road.
Participate in the parade, and be a guest in the ceremony as we honor our veterans of past and present… Avon – Avon Lake Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7035.

Avon Health & Safety Fair – 2018
The City of Avon’s Health & Safety Fair will be held on Saturday, June 9th from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Avon High School 37545 Detroit Road.
BIGGER AND BETTER THAN EVER. Come see Cleveland Clinic & University Hospital Helicopters, Critter Camp-Petting Farm and Pony Rides, Avon Fire Department Hook & Ladder and Smoke House Child IDs from Avon Police and Fire Departments and much more…
There will be Health and Safety Exhibits plus Demonstrations, Crafts, Giveaways, Games, Prizes and FREE Food.
