Avon Performing Arts Center Grand Opening

You are cordially invited to the Grand Opening of the Avon Performing Arts Center on Thursday, May 5 at 6 p.m., 37545 Detroit Rd.

Schedule of Events

6-6:15 p.m.: Arrival

6:15 p.m.: Ribbon Cutting

6:30-7:30 p.m.: Welcome guests to explore PAC. Student music groups from our middle and high schools will be stationed throughout the building with student “guides”

7:45-7:50 p.m.: Avon High School Principal Kristina Buller welcomes guests and introduces Avon High School student Logan Murray (construction video producer)

7:50-8 p.m.: Choir sings Alma Mater, AHS Big Band plays National Anthem, celebration ends with commissioned piece: of Joy and Nostalgia written for the Avon Local Schools by Clint Needham (associate professor of composition, Baldwin Wallace University)

The Avon Local Schools Art Show will also be on display in the lobby for guests to view.
