On 02-07-2013 a Lake Road resident reported someone attempted to break into the family’s vehicle in the driveway.  The keypad on the driver’s door was tampered with and it did not appear as though entry was gained.

On 02/06/2013, at 2152 hours, BVPD officers were dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Knickerbocker for a disturbance.  An intoxicated female was refusing to leave her boyfriend’s house.  Upon arrival, officers located the female across the street at a neighbor’s house.  She was obviously intoxicated, and very belligerent.  The 43 yoa female was arrested for Disorderly Conduct-Intoxicated, and escorted out to a police cruiser.  While walking her out to the cruiser she became combative and began fighting with officers.  She was also charged with Resisting Arrest.  She also had an active warrant with the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office.  She was turned over to the Sheriffs on the strength of their warrant, and will also face charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On 02/05/2013, at 1332 hours, BVPD received a call from a Drake resident who claimed a male was attempting to break into her house.  She met an officer at the front door and indicated the male, an ex-acquaintance, was at the rear of the house and was still trying to break in.  The male was previously advised by the family to not come to the residence.  Robert J. Friswold, 23 years of age, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Trespassing and Aggravated Menacing.   He was also charged with Trespassing for going to the house of an ex-girlfriend the day before.  He had previously been advised by police to stay away from this house as well.  He will face charges at Rocky River Municipal Court.

On 02/04/2013, at 2324 hours, a Lake Forest resident called to report seeing someone walk behind her neighbor’s house.  She was concerned because her neighbor was recently divorced.  Officers located the homeowner in the house.  He indicated he had just finished shoveling the driveway and he was the person the neighbor saw.
