The Cleveland Area College Consortium (CACC) is presenting the first in a series of
educational luncheons, “Partners in Education: Helping Area Organization Increase their ROI”, on Thursday, March 14 beginning at 10 a.m. at the John Carroll University Lombardo Student Center, 20700 North Park Blvd. in University Heights.
Jim Tressel, Vice President for Strategic Engagement at the University of Akron,
will be the keynote speaker.
Tressel will speak on the importance of collaboration between businesses and higher educational institutions in in order to provide adult workers with the necessary education and training to enhance their lives and contribute to the economic growth of Northeastern Ohio.
In addition to Tressel, Dr. Kitty Brandal, adjunct faculty member at Terra Community College in Fremont and president of Corporate Compass Training and Development, will present on “Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace”.
The luncheon is free to attend. Reservations are required, as seating is limited.
This luncheon series was developed specifically by the CACC for Northeast Ohio Human Resource leaders to further their knowledge in organizational development and education. The CACC is a non-profit organization governed and facilitated by admissions representatives from 16 accredited colleges and universities throughout Northeast Ohio. Founded in 1987, its mission is to promote professional development throughout the region by working with human resource professionals and business owners of companies that offer benefits for employees seeking to develop new and existing skills.
