On 06/28/2013, at 1739 hrs, a Drake resident reported that someone stole all of her credit cards while she was out running errands.  She was not sure where the theft occurred.  The thief used her cards at numerous locations around the area making several thousand dollars in purchases.  Police are investigating.

On 06/26/2013, at 1319 hrs, a resident called to report a group of 5 people parked their car at the Bay Village Animal Clinic and started walking east bound on the railroad tracks.  Officers caught up with the group and discovered they were on a scavenger hunt using a GPS unit.  The group was advised about trespassing on the railroad tracks and sent on their way.


On 06/25/2013, at 0200 hrs, a West Oakland resident called to report a group of juveniles was walking through the neighborhood.  Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the group.


On 06/26/2013, at 0101 hrs, a BVPD officer located a vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Cahoon Road walking path.  The male operator was okay.  He had gotten tired while driving and pulled over to take a nap.


On 06/26/2013, at 0919 hrs, a Jefferson Court resident called to report fraudulent activity on several of her credit cards.  After speaking with her, it was discovered the fraud all took place in California and she was not liable for the purchases.


On 07/01/2013, at 0152 hrs, a BVPD officer stopped a juvenile that was skateboarding on Columbia Rd. near Lake Rd.  After speaking with the male it was determined he had been drinking.  He was arrested for Underage Consumption of Alcohol.  He will face charges at CCJC.


On 06/30/2013, at 1356 hrs, a Cahoon Rd. resident flagged down an officer to report $2,500 worth of welding cable was stolen from the bed of his truck overnight.

On 06/30/2013, at 1115 hrs, a West Oakland resident reported that his 2004 Buick LeSabre was stolen from his driveway sometime over night.  Police are investigating.
