Perfect summer weather graced the grounds of St. John Medical Center last weekend as the hospital hosted its 20th Festival of the Arts.
Thousands of guests visited the Fair over the three days of the event, enjoying a wine tasting party to kick things off Friday night. Two days of arts and crafts followed, and Sunday Mass under a tent attract hundreds as this signature summer event was once again a hit.
“This year’s Festival was one of our best,” said SJMC Marketing Director Patrick J. Garmone. “The weather was perfect, the crowds came in a steady stream all weekend and we had a wide selection of quality artists and craftsmen for people to browse, all thanks to our many volunteers and the work of Festival Chair Ardis Radak and Camille Anter.
Musical notable Justo Sabriot salsafied the crowd Friday night as Bistro83 hosted a wine tasting with memorable gourmet plates prepared by SJMC Executive Chef John Ellis.
The VIP tent for Friday’s opening night party was filled with dignitaries, including Mayor and Mrs. Dennis Clough, Sr. Judith Ann Karam, President and CEO Sister of Charity Health Systems, Ohio State Rep. Nan Baker and University Hospitals executives and friends.
