Mercy welcomes family medicine physician Martin DuFour, M.D. and cardiologist Ismail Ahmed, M.D.
Mercy is pleased to welcome new physicians Martin DuFour, M.D. and Ismail Ahmed, M.D.
Dr. DuFour is a primary care physician who is board certified in family medicine. Dr. DuFour joins Drs. Dennis E. Carson and Charyse McMillion at the Mercy Primary Care office in Oberlin.
Dr. DuFour completed his residency at the University of McGill – Jewish Hospital in Quebec, Canada and received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Montreal. A Canadian native, Dr. DuFour is fluent in English and French.
Dr. DuFour has relocated to Northeast Ohio with his wife and two children.

Dr. Ahmed is a board certified cardiologist, and will be joining the cardiology staff of Mercy physicians in Elyria. Dr. Ahmed will also be joining Dr. DuFour and Drs. Dennis E.Caron and Charyse McMillion in Oberlin to support the cardiac needs of Southern Lorain County. Dr. Ahmed joins Mercy from Akron, where he has served the past three years at Akron Cardiology Associates.
Dr. Ahmed completed his residency at the National Institute of Cardiovascular disease in Pakistan and received his doctorate of medicine from the University of Karachi.
