A Kenilworth resident reported on October 19, 2013 someone forcibly entered her home which was up for sale.  Nothing was reported missing from the house.

A Bay Village Officer stopped a vehicle on Wolf Road for a traffic violation.  As the vehicle came to a stop, the front passenger jumped from the car and fled the scene.  The 19 year old male driver was suspected of being intoxicated, failed sobriety tests and was arrested for OVI.  During an inventory of the vehicle, drug paraphernalia and suspected marijuana was discovered.   The passenger was not located.

A 75 year old male was found in a vehicle that was pulled from Lake Erie on Sunday, October 20, 2013.  The Bay Village Police, with the assistance of the Fire Department and the Service Department, recovered the vehicle from below the cliffs on the east end of Cahoon Park where it appeared the vehicle entered the water.    The vehicle and the deceased male match the description of a Bay Village resident reported missing to Bay Village Police on Saturday, October 19th at 11:53 pm.  The body was transported to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.  The Medical Examiner’s Office and the Bay Village Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death but no criminal activity is suspected.
